I went with Matt, Jessica, Damo, and Omri to see the 4th of July fireworks display at The American Village in Montevallo, Alabama. Great food, great fireworks, fun with family!
I had not been to a fireworks display in many years, and had never tried to photograph them before, so I was really excited! I spent the day researching photography blogs and youtube for advice on settings for photographing fireworks; I'm such a geek!

I love fireworks, but they do scare the crap ouf of me.

(Fireworks SHOULD scare the crap out of us - they are so dangerous!! You KNOW how I feel about home fireworks of any kind!!)
